WCB- after breakfast nap time

Tina likes to get up at 5.30 for breakfast, with us watching her eat, then she likes to have a little nap while we're sitting in the living room.

So sundays are her favourite. Unfortunately for her, we dont like her plan, so we give her breakfast, then shut the door so we can have another couple of hours sleep, which is obviously just terrible, so we endure a good few minutes of talking to.

She's a very vocal cat, the vet thinks she's a british blue, I dont know if that has some siamese or burmese in, but she is jolly chatty.

Here she is post breakfast relaxing. Look at her little back rabbit foot sticking out. Oh bless! Her coat is looking nice and sleek for the summer now that she's done moulting.

Tina under Siege

Tina has found another cupboard to sit in. This is a bit tricky, she just has to launch herself in there and then she's in, but she cant stand up in there, so she has a bit of trouble getting comfy.

It always makes me laugh when my yoga teacher says 'like a cat' implying grace and smooth movements. Tina isnt really one of those types of cats!!

Anyway, unfortunately we have a new cat next door which is now called 'leopard cat' and is twice the size of tina (remember, she's 14 lb!) and is terrorizing her a little bit, so she's very needy at the moment. I hope she learns to stand up for herself a bit.

WCB-popping into all kinds of places

My little poppet likes to investigate every open cupboard. She's a little tinker! Full of the joys of spring she's doing a lot more investigating these days!!

WCB-better late than never!

Little Tina loves to sit in the garden surveying the landscape and looking for lizards. Thankfully she's not brought any in, although Andy discovered a gopher in the kitchen, just hanging out. Apparently it wasnt interested in moving, so I'm guessing it was in shock!

She's really enjoying basking in the sun and enjoying the warmer weather too!

WCB-I can still see you!

Little Tina is full of the joys of spring now, and we're very happy that we think that all of her pets have now left, so she's free of fleas and worms. Yay!

So she's running around like a crazy thing, jumping in the air for no reason, and doing the cartoon scuttle around corners, scratching away at our lovely wooden floors! The joys of having a pet!

WCB-Fleabag

Well, I'll start off with the fun picture, of my little princess reclining on a piece of discarded cardboard, a very comfy resting place where she can turn to the patio doors and watch over the garden to see whats going on.

Unfortunately we've been dealing with repeated occurances of fleas and worms. Apparently fleas carry the worms, so this time we're starting by trying to kill the fleas then we'll deal with the worms in a couple of days. Oh dear. How gross. And princess tina is not happy about the flea stuff, as you can tell! Hopefully she'll keep away from us as we're not really that interested in hanging out until the visitors have gone.

WCB-we're a bit sad

I was very sad yesterday to find out my very dearest favourite cat in the blogosphere is having a hard time. I check in every week to see how the lovely Upsie is doing, and it turns out she has another health challenge and doesn't have much longer for this world.

I've had fun hearing about her adventures in the garden, her trials and tribulations with the squirrels and enjoy seeing her fabulous outfits.

When I read the news yesterday morning, I had a little cry, and tina came over to see me. I later remembered about Upsie, and Tina came and sat on the arm of the sofa and put her chin on my arm. She always knows when I'm upset and comes over and comforts me. I'm sure Upsie has done her fair share of being a comforting presence in everyone's lives she's come into.

Hopefully the new cat at 'What did you eat' is going to bring just as much happiness into Sher's life. As far as I'm concerned, as a brit, a black cat is always good luck and little Laura is just adorable.

This is the first time anything on anyones blog has affected me this much. I'm so sad for my favourite virtual cat.

WCB-Can you tell we're having guests

This seems to be every cat's dream. Nice clean bedding to shed all over.

Mum and Grandma are coming into town on Tuesday and she wanted to welcome them by leaving a little bit of cat litter and fur, so they feel at home.

WCB-Tina likes to roll around in the dirt

This is tina's favourite thing to do as soon as we open the door, she'll run out to the back patio concrete or the steps and roll around for ages, especially if its sunny!
