Weekend Cat Blogging-Helping us pick a new lawn

We're incredibly sad to hear that our blogger hero, Sher from 'What did you Eat' has passed away suddenly. I got great pleasure from reading her stories about cats and about the squirrels. I particularly adored Upsie, who just had so much character. I hope her friends and family will take some comfort in how many lives she's touched, but it must be incredibly hard to lose such a wonderful woman.

Tina has been hard at work helping us to choose some artificial grass. Having a lawn and living in San Diego are not compatable, our gophers really love to tear it up and its actually dangerous now, so we're going for an alternative that isnt going to look awful after 6 months. It took her a few days, but she's decided on the more lush version so we'll tell the rep today!

WCB-Festive felines

We decided to put up our rather pathetic IKEA christmas tree this weekend, and it got us all festive. Tina found a new favourite spot on the sofa. Thankfully she's not showing much interest in toppling the tree!

You can see she was happy to be indoors all cozy sleeping with all that rain and snow we've had here. Am I glad I decided not to ride up palomar this weekend, its very snowy!

Well, Princess Tina is a strange one indeed. She completely ignored the roast duck right next to her and proceeded to try and get at my tofurkey. What a funny one. Here is her enjoying some leftovers!

Weekend Cat Blogging-Tina in the box

As soon as I've got my groceries out of a box it becomes Tina's. For some reason she thinks that as long as she's in the box she's impervious to everything. Being a flighty little thing, she has quite a few things that she's scared of, including tin foil, kitchen timers, vacuum cleaner, my bike etc. As soon as she finds a box to sit in she feels safe.

Its weird inheriting a cat at 4 years old as we have no real knowledge of those 4 years. We get a surprise every now and then, we realised this week that she understands exactly what a pill box is and doesnt like pills!!

Weekend Cat Blogging-Tina mucky paws

I think you'll agree that my lovely Tina is very proud of her mucky paw prints, she's done a particularly careful job today, went out in the rain and then straight into the litter box, then straight on the coffee table.

Lets not even talk about the fact she's not technically even allowed on the bloody coffee table shall we?!
